About Darcy Dalke
About Darcy Dalke
About Darcy Dalke
I’m a proud graduate of St. Albert’s public schools, a husband and father, an involved community member, and a passionate advocate for education. My journey—from overcoming dyslexia as a child to spending time in training and development—has taught me the power of resilience, the importance of hands-on learning, and the impact of strong support systems.
Whether I’m volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, hosting youth game nights, or working alongside families and educators, I’m driven by a deep belief that education should be practical, inclusive, and rooted in community.
As a trustee, I’ll bring experience, integrity, and a collaborative spirit to the table—because every child deserves the foundation to thrive, and every parent deserves a voice in the process.
Construction | 14 Years
I worked in road construction for over a decade, helping to shape the physical infrastructure of St. Albert. This work required collaboration, planning, and commitment to long-term outcomes, all essential skills for a trustee working to support student success.
Trainer | 3 Years
During my training role in the construction industry, I taught workers to use modern tools like GPS systems and machine control software. I assisted others in building new skills, helped grow their confidence, and assured they had everything they needed to succeed on the job.
